Ian Astbury: Rock god In Exile? Ian Astbury's first solo album very much follows the same musical vein as The Cult's 94' self titled release and Mr.Astbury's side project, Holy Barbarians. If you're not familiar with those albums, I'll just say don't be expecting Electric or Sonic Temple. This is more subdude melancholy new alt. Very thoughtful, meaningful lyrics as you'd expect from Ian; just delivered in a more low keyed style.

Definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of the man. Out of print though, so get a copy while you can.
